SCRANTON — A 6-inch water main burst on Olive Street near Penn Avenue this morning, affecting service to about 35 customers. Crews are on the scene and repairs are expected to wrap up later tonight, according to Pennsylvania American Water Spokeswoman Susan Turcmanovich. Customers may experience low or no water pressure and discolored water. Customers with discolored water should allow it to run until it clears before using, which typically takes a few minutes, according to the utility company.
