Maura Ann Casey and John James Pambianco were united in marriage on June 23, 2012, at St. Leo's Church, Ashley. The officiant of the ceremony was the Rev. Brian J.T. Clarke.


The bride is the daughter of Michele Casey and the late Leo Casey, Ashley. She is the granddaughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Casey, Ashley, and the late Michael and Charlotte Macarek, Wilkes-Barre.


The groom is the son of John and Pamela Pambianco, Trucksville. He is the grandson of the late John and Marilyn Pambianco, Forty Fort, and the late Bernard and Dorothy Rampola, Wilkes-Barre.


The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Kieran Casey, chose her sister, Megan Casey, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Celia Pambianco, sister of the groom, and Anne Brawand, Jill Carone, Kristen Leary, Amy Mulhern, Kim Mulhern, Nicole Perraut, Jaime Redmond, Alana Scott and Meghan Wood, friends of the bride.


The groom's friend, Collin McHale, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kieran Casey, brother of the bride, and Thomas Hogans, David Lohin, Mohammed Lotfipour and Cory Norton, friends of the groom.


An evening reception was held at The Highlands, Dallas. A bridal shower hosted by the mother of the bride was held at Bentley's, Ashley. The rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the groom at Café Toscana, Wilkes-Barre.


The bride is a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. Maura earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from King's College and her master's degree in special education from East Stroudsburg University. She is employed by the Hanover Area School District as a special education teacher.


The groom is a graduate of Dallas High School. John earned a bachelor's degree in biology from St. Joseph's University. He is employed by Maxim Healthcare as a nurse recruiter staffing coordinator.


The couple honeymooned in Venice, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast, Italy. They reside in the Riverside Park section of Wilkes-Barre with their dog, Heidi.
