The annual United Way Labor Christmas Stocking Project, coordinated by the United Way of Wyoming Valley's Labor Participation Department and the Greater Wilkes-Barre Labor Council's Community Services Committee, was recently held at Teamsters Local 401 union hall. More than 30 volunteers helped pack 500 candy-filled stockings for five different United Way partner agencies that provide a variety of services for local children with special needs.
