On Friday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m., at the Sette LaVerghetta Center for Performing Arts on the campus of Marywood University, approximately 100 students from high schools in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne, Wyoming and Susquehanna counties will give a performance.

Admission: $5, general; $3, student.

Nathanial F. Parker, D.M.A., director of orchestral activities and assistant professor of music, will be Guest Conductor and Clinician for the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 9 Festival Orchestra.

String, woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists were selected for the orchestra through a competitive audition process.
