The Lackawanna County Commissioners participated in the groundbreaking for a 74 unit personal care center located at 2741 Boulevard Avenue, Scranton.

The Gardens at Green Ridge will provide 24-hour nursing services to individuals suffering from dementia or other age-related memory impairments. The single story structure will create 30 full time administrative, clerical, nursing, personal and recreational care, laundry, dietary and housekeeping positions and is expected to be completed by July of 2013.
