According to the PennDOT Department of Transportation, SR 307 (Moosic Street Bridge) in Scranton is closed in both directions.

This is the bridge from Front Street (near Krispy Kream Doughnuts) heading over top of Cedar Ave. Ramp/Central Scranton Expressway and into Scranton.

Sometime recently, a truck going under the bridge hit the beams, causing extensive damage.

The Central Scranton Expressway and Cedar Ave. ramps are now both open.



The bridge will not reopen until the entire span is replaced, which will be early 2013.
