Alyssa Hamill and Casey O'Connell scored goals Thursday as North Pocono opened the Wyoming Valley Conference girls' soccer season with a 2-0 victory over host Wyoming Seminary.

O'Connell's clinching goal, on an assist by Kaylee Banfield, came with 10 seconds left.

Meghan Utter had six saves in the shutout.
