PSU quarterback McGloin prepares for Dec. 15 fundraiser in Scranton

Penn State quarterback and Burlsworth Trophy finalist Matt McGloin, who often wears a Children‚??s Advocacy Center/NEPA (CAC/NEPA) bracelet on the field as well as a Stop Child Abuse logo on his helmet, will host a two-part fundraising event Dec. 15 at St. Mary‚??s Center in Scranton.
He, his family and his teammates are supporting the CAC/NEPA ‚??Tailgate for Kids,‚?Ě a family event that will take place Dec. 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. There will be football tosses, autographs, meet and greet players and coaches, raffles, food, games and live entertainment. Tickets are $10.
‚??An Evening with Matt McGloin and Friends‚?Ě will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. and is an adult -only reception. It will include a meet and greet with players and coaches, hot hors d‚??oeuvres, open bar, carving stations, raffles and live entertainment. Tickets are $50.
