A single car accident occurred at approximately 11 this morning, Jan. 28, on a stretch of Interstate 81 that runs through South Abington Twp., according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Yvonne Clark, 31, of Scranton, was traveling north on the interstate when she lost control of her Toyota Corolla, according to a police report. The car slid off the road, across the grassy median toward the southbound lane, spinning 180 degrees and hitting a ditch before spinning another 180 degrees and coming to rest on the median. Clark suffered minor injuries, according to police.
