State Police request help identifying theft suspects

The Pa. State Police in Honesdale are investigating a theft fraud which allegedly occurred Sept. 16 at Smoking Joe's, Berlin Twp., Wayne County, according to a Public Information Release Report.

The release states, "This station is investigating the theft of a wallet from the victim's purse. The actor(s) arrived at the location where the theft occurred and absconded with the victim's wallet. The actor(s) then went to various locations in Dickson City (Target, Best Buy, ect.). The actor(s) used the victim's information to make numerous purchases. There was some video available of the actor(s)."

Anyone able to identify the individuals, pictured in the box at right, is asked to contact the Pa. State Police in Honesdale at 570.253.7126.

The victim is listed on the report as Sharon Smith, of Beach Lake.
