WILKES-BARRE — With the holidays rapidly approaching, I ask if you all remember how, in December 1983, beavers, not Grinches, almost stole Christmas.

WILKES-BARRE — Several years ago, I attended a service at the Daddow-Isaacs Dallas American Legion Post 672.

WILKES-BARRE — It’s Thanksgiving week, and what better way to begin the celebration than to continue my time-honored tradition of displaying Santa Claus on my front door.

Our community is really deserving of that decades-old motto —“Valley With A Heart.”
