WILKES-BARRE — John W. Cosgrove, Chief Executive Officer at AllOne Foundation & Charities, on Thursday announced the promotion of Mary Carroll Donahoe to the position of Chief Program Officer and the hiring of Christine Meluskey as the organization’s new Program Officer.
Cosgrove said the AOF&C team is growing and excelling.
“Building the capacity of our organizations is directly tied to the impact of our mission and vision,” Cosgrove said. “Expanding the passion, focus, and expertise of our team will benefit the community immensely.”
Donahoe has worked at AllOne Foundation & Charities for more than five years as a critical member of the leadership team. She has helped to develop the organization’s programs, including building a robust grant-making process and forging collaborative partnerships to enhance the fundraising efforts of organizations across Northeast and North Central Pennsylvania.
Prior to her role at AllOne Foundation & Charities, Donahoe was the Executive Director of the Geographical Society of Philadelphia, where she directed the operations, fundraising, and strategic direction of the over 200-year-old non-profit.
She also served as the Director of Development for United Neighborhood Centers of NEPA and the Executive Director of Scranton Community Concerts. In both roles, she oversaw special event programming and raised significant funding through individual and corporate fundraising.
In addition, Donahoe is trained in strategic planning and has conducted workshops for local non-profits and spoken at numerous conferences.
Meluskey has been hired as the organization’s new Program Officer and will assist the team with grant management, non-profit partnerships, and signature events.
Meluskey has served as the Director of Annual Giving at both King’s College and the West Chester University Foundation, where she led annual fundraising programs that raised millions of dollars for educational scholarships, programs, and operations.
She also served as the Director of Development and Marketing for the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association, where she substantially increased donations, grew special events revenue, and developed highly successful marketing campaigns.
AllOne Foundation & Charities has committed more than $35 million in philanthropic resources to all corners of the 13-county region. The foundation has distributed over 1,000 individual grants to more than 350 non-profit organizations in the last eight years.
