Forecasters say a winter storm may bring several inches of snow to parts of Pennsylvania,. making travel conditions hazardous, but a change to sleet or rain with warming temperatures was expected to limit accumulations.
The National Weather Service says the storm is expected to bring 1 to 3 inches to parts of the commonwealth with as much as 5 inches in some areas.
In northwestern Pennsylvania, forecasters said a light glaze of ice was also possible along with winds gusting as high as 40 mph that could bring down tree branches.
The weather service warned motorists to “plan on slippery road conditions.
But forecasters said warmer air would later change the mixed precipitation into all rain.
